Life is an ever-changing entity, so we often find ourselves with a need to reset.  Don’t you want to know how to quickly reset?  Since we can’t just control, alt, delete in our real life, I’m going to give you some practical tools. This is even better as you fine tune your internal barometer, so you can sense when you need a shift earlier than later.

Do you ever feel faced with challenges or lots of transitions, bogged down with stress, drained, or just out of whack?  Then, you need a reset tool kit.

What is the use of a reset toolkit?  It serves 3 main purposes.

1)   To relax, 2) To disconnect from all of the distractions, 3) To connect to yourself…to your soul…to your insights.

So what’s in this toolkit.

#1:  Tea

Tea has health benefits and can be relaxing and bring clarity.  If another hot drink, like coffee, helps you chill out and smile, then I’m not going to discriminate.  Put your coffee in your toolkit.

#2:  Water

If you drink more water, then you’re going to feel better because water is restorative and is necessary for the body to function.  Disclaimer:  real water…not flavored, processed water.

#3:  Sage

You can burn sage, which is called smudging, but my secret weapon is sage spray.  I can use it anywhere without worry of accidentally setting off a smoke alarm or something…no matches needed!  Sage is a powerful tool to cleanse energy.  There are times you have to reset the energy of the space so that there’s more freedom for you to reset yourself.

#4:  Items that trigger relaxation

For me, these are my robe and fuzzy slippers.  When I put my robe on, it’s like I went to the spa in my house, and I automatically relax as soon as I put those cozy slippers on.  When I put my comfy, fuzzy slippers on, it sends my body a signal that it’s time to relax. This can be any item that give your body instant reinforcement that it is time to chill out and that you are in a safe space.

#5:  Candles

Candles can assist with providing warm soothing light, aromatherapy, along with just smelling good.  This can be substituted for a diffuser if you prefer oils or are prone to leaving candles unsupervised.

#6:  Affirmations, Intention Statements and Prayers

These are secret sauce to the reset toolkit.  They are not only accessible and powerful, but they also all harness the power of your mind and the universe to assist you.

The reset toolkit is a valuable resource to get you recharged and moving forward.  It puts you in a position to relax, connect, and disconnect.  All of the components are easy to obtain and inexpensive, so all of us can make them happen.
